1st Lt Max Poore graduated from Medora High School and was employed by the Kizer Plating Co.He enlisted on 20 June 1941 at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana and was sent overseas in December 1943.
He is buried next to his brother Kelso M. Poore.
