Pvt George M. Kelly was a sales clerk before he enlisted in New York City, New York on 23 March 1943.On 24 September, A Company was engaged in supporting a friendly tank force in an attack on Wijbosch, the Netherlands. Great enemy opposition was extented against the Company and casualties were suffered. A field investigation in 1950 in the towns of Wijbosch and Schijndel failed to locate his remains.
