Pfc Lester W. Boyer enlisted in Raleigh, North Carolina on 3 February 1940.He died by shrapnel in hip and back.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
His brother Pvt Ervin Boyer is buried next to him at Plot G, Row 1, Grave 68.
