Pfc Haden E. Barkley was a chauffeur before he enlisted at Fort Sill, Oklahoma on 15 April 1944.He was first buried at Margraten Cemetery on 10 April 1945. He was disinterred on 4 August 1948 and his remains were prepared and placed in a casket on 13 August 1948. He was given his final resting place on 4 January 1949.
His brother, Pfc Willie L. Barkley is buried at the American Military Cemetery in Luxembourg.
