Pfc Harvey E. Wilson attended high school for one year and worked on the family farm before he enlisted at Camp Dodge Herrold, Iowa on 5 July 1943. He was sent overseas in October 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand Failly, France.
