S/Sgt Harvey L. Williams graduated from Whitewater Teacher College and taught at Greenwood High School. In 1942 he began as bookkeeper for the John Wuethrich Creamery Company.
He enlisted in April 1943 and was sent overseas in October 1944.
S/Sgt Williams is remembered at Greenwood City Cemetery in Greenwood, Clark County, Wisconsin with a memorial maker.
