Pvt Bernard J. Glazier enlisted in Chicago, Illinois on 23 April 1942.

He was aboard a tank with other members of his crew when it was hit by enemy shell fire and burned.

He is remembered at the Summit View Cemetery in Ottawa, Illinois.
