Roy H. Napier graduated from Abraham Lincoln high school in 1942 and attended Iowa State College.He joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve in Des Moines, Iowa and graduated from advanced flying school at Williams Field, California in March 1944.
The airplane crashed due to bad weather.
