Pfc Mark L. Bauserman enlisted in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on 5 January 1944 and received his training at Fort McClellan in Alabama; Camp Breckenridge in Kentucky and Camp Butner in North Carolina. He was sent overseas in October and had served in England, Belgium and France.He was employed at Cressler's fruit market and as a route-man for the Miller-Reed Dairy.
He only lived one day after receiving fatal wounds in France on February 4, 1945.
