Pfc Arthur Strange attended high school for three years and joined the Regular Army at Pope Field, North Carolina on 7 March 1939.He was officially declared dead one day and one year after he was reported missing in action.
Pfc Strange is remembered at Sunnydale Cemetery in Wise County, Virginia with a memorial marker.
