More information

2nd Lt Clark G. Johnson attended Missoula County High School. He was employed by Boeing.

He was sent overseas in December 1944.

According to witness statements of crew members of other airplane in the group, on the way to the target this airplane was flying in his position for about one hour. Suddenly it was noticed his left engine was smoking and it was falling back. The group entered a build-up cumulus and after it broke out of it the plane was nowhere in sight.

The entire crew of six men was killed.
