Pvt Marvin E. Scally graduated from Fort Meyers Senior High School with the class of 1934. He worked as a machinery operator before he enlisted at Camp Blanding, Florida on 11 November 1943.Pvt Scally was believed to have been killed while laying pontoon bridges over the Elbe river.
He left behind a wife and three-year-old daughter.
