Pvt Melvin R. Morse attended Oakesdale High Schooland was employed at William E. Russell Coal Company.He enlisted in Denver, Colorado on 13 February 1943 and went overseas this July 1943.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Son, The Netherlands.
