Cpl Richard T. Metz attended high school for four years and worked in a machine shop.He enlisted in Utica, New York on 28 May 1943.
He was taken prisoner in the vicinity of Schophoven, Germany on 17 December 1944 and died in Stalag IV-B of dysentery.
