T/5 Wesley S. Otter enlisted in Chicago on 20 February 1941.He received his schooling at Sunnyside School, near Irving and was a farmhand before he enlisted. He married Lessie Limper on 8 February 1941. She died in October 1942 of complications from the birth of their son Robert, at that time three months old. Wesley was sent overseas in August 1944.
He was first buried at Block JJJ, Row 10, Grave 199.
