Cpl Patrick J. Mazzie enlisted in New York City, New York on 16 September 1940.His only child, daughter Patricia, was born three weeks after his death.
His brother-in-law, Joseph A. Glassen, was killed on 1 June 1944. At the request of the family both men are buried side by side.
