Pfc David T. Wood was a mechanic and repairman of motor vehicles.He enlisted at Fort McPherson Atlanta, Georgia, on 15 April 1944. He was overseas for only two months when he was killed.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.
