Pfc Edward P. Turner attended high school for four years and worked in a machine shop before he enlisted in New York City, New York on 21 December 1942.He joined his unit from the 92nd Replacement Battalion on 21 December 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.
