Sgt Eugene F. Nolan attended Father Ryan High School and was employed as a retail manager before he enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 28 May 1941.Sgt Noland was reported wounded in action in France on 10 July 1944 and rejoined his outfit on 5 August 1944 after being released from the hospital.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
