Sgt Adrian Mc Father joined his unit from a replacement depot on 13 August 1944. He was promoted from Cpl to Sgt on 12 October 1944.

Sgt Adrian E. McFather was named to both the all-state guard for his basketball as well as the All-Time Roster at Texas Wesleyan college (1941-1943).

He is memorialized at the Winn Hill Cemetery, Jacksboro, Texas.
