Pfc Robert C. Lee enlisted in Denver, Colorado on 30 December 1942. He attended and went through grade school at Richey and graduated from high school at Fort Peck in 1939. At the time of his induction he was employed as a foreman for Kershaw, Swinerton and Walberg Co. of Denver.
He received his training at Camp Bowie, Camp Hood, ASTP school at Chicago, desert camps in California and Camp Carson, Colorado. He had served overseas since September 1944 in France, Belgium and Holland.
