Maj. James A. Dickerson graduated from Edgerton High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, class of 1939.He joined the Navy in 1930 and was discharged in 1935. He also served in the Nelson CCC Camp. He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the army in 1941. He went overseas in November 1943.
In the University of Wisconsin profile, it says that he made thirteen jumps.
He is remembered at Saint Josephs Cemetery in Edgerton, Rock County, Wisconsin.
