Pfc Victor Yanchunas enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 16 October 1941.He saw acion in the North African, Sicilian and Italian campaigns before he unit was sent to Northern Europe.
Pfc Victor Yanchunas was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Fosse, Belgium.
