Sgt Kenneth P. Weckerle graduated from Kensington High School in 1941. He was employed at employed at Uebelhoer Brothers Incorporated.He volunteered for the Air Corps of the Army of the United States on 17 November 1942.
Sgt Weckerle could not get out of his turret. His foot was caught between his seat and the sightcradle.
He had been overseas one month.
