2nd Lt David W. Bradfute graduated from Cedarville High School and was a student at the University of Cincinnati at the time of his enlistment. He received navigator training at Coral Gables, Florida. His brother, John, was also a navigator.The nose blew first. It looked like the oxygen system was going. The plane dropped back and peeled to the left. It then broke in two at the waist, and the wings fell off. It exploded in the air.
