Pvt Weaver enlisted on 26 February 1944 and was sent overseas on 1 September 1944.He was reported missing in action on 8 November 1944, his birthday and was officialy declared death one day and one year later.
He is remembered at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Ruthven, Iowa.
On one of the pictures he poses with his daughter Peggy.
All of his brothers also served.
