Joseph E. Sheridan was an employee of the Midvale Steel Co. before he enlisted in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 23 June 1942.He participated in the D-Day operation in Normandy on 6 June 1944.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.
