Sgt Lester P. Chehock worked on a farm.

He volunteered for the Army of the United States at Camp Dodge, Iowa on 21 August 1942. He was sent overseas in October 1944.

He was reported missing in action on 21 December 1944 and later reports showed that he was talen prisoner and died the same day.
