Cpl Anthony L. Locarro attended Manhattan College where he studied engineering in his second year when he enlisted in New York City, New York on 16 February 1943.He was fatally wounded at his legs by anti-tank fire and died the same day.
His brother Joseph served in Europe with the 102nd Infantry Division and survived the war.
