Pfc William C. Lovett was a police officer.

He enlisted at Camp Shelby, Mississippi on 19 June 1941.

The exact place where he was injured is not known at this moment, neither are the exact circumstances.

The 6th Infantry Division was deployed in the Philippines during the war. At the request of his family, William's remains were transported to Margraten and laid to rest next to his brother Jim.

Four other brothers also served during the war. Charlie, upper left on the picture, Roscoe, upper right, Sam, lower left and Jim, lower right. William is in the center.
