Pvt Jeremy Leonard volunteered for the US Army in Newark, New Jersey on 7 October 1942.He graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1942 where he played football, ran track, was in the camera club, archery club and booster club.
He was killed by a gun shot wound to the abdomen.
He is remembered at the Bryn Athyn Cemetery in Bryn Athyn, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
