Pvt Jeremy Leonard graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1942 where he played football, ran track, was in the camera club, archery club and booster club.He volunteered for the Army of the United States in Newark, New Jersey on 7 October 1942.
He was killed by small arms fire in the abdomen.
He is remembered at the Bryn Athyn Cemetery in Bryn Athyn, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
