Pvt Gunnar D. Danielsen enlisted on 4 January 1943 in Newark, New Jersey.He died of a penetration wound in the right side of his abdomen.
He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 9 January 1945 and was given his final resting place on 18 August 1948.
