T/5 Robert J. Le May enlisted on 27 March 1942.Aboard of a Glider, loaded with jeeps and while approaching the landingzone, enemy ground fire shot off the left wing and it crashed in the vicinity of Oisterwijk, The Netherlands.
The crew was initially buried on the cemetery of St. Petrus Banden in Oisterwijk.
