Pvt Richard W. Werner graduated from Neenah High School’s in the Class of 1937. He enlisted in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 29 August 1942.He and his brother Lynn were electricians and their father owned an electrical supply business in Neenah where they worked before entering the service. The business still exists today, Werner Electric.
