S/Sgt Arnold H. Van Quekelberghe attended high school for two years and was employed at the Republic Steel Company before he enlisted in Akron, Ohio on 1 February 1943. He was sent overseas in October 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Grand Failly, France.
