Pfc Milnor R. Oswald graduated from Allegany High School. He was a talented athletic. After graduation, Oswald worked as an office clerk.He enlisted at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, on 29 April 1944 and received his basic training at Camp Croft, South Carolina, and Camp McCoy, Wisconsin.
