Pvt Cyrus A. Lewis graduated from B.M.C. Durfee High School in 1944.He enlisted at Fort Banks, Boston, Massachusetts on 15 November 1944 and was sent overseas in April 1945.
He and two others Pfc Clark F. Lincicome and Pfc Floyd F. Moorman were electrocuted by a live wire on a shooting range.
At the time of his death, his three borthers were also serving.
