1st Lt Walter E. Bell educated at the Andover Academy, Yale University and N.Y.U. School of Commerce. He entered service on 19 June 1942.He was first buried at in a temporary grave at Margraten on 26 April 1945. He was disinterred on 18 August 1948 and his remains were prepared an placed in a casket on 25 August 1948. He was given his final resting place on 22 December 1948.
