Pvt James M. Conrad enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 14 June 1943.He was oficially declared dead one year and one day after he was reported missing in action. At that time his unit was fighting in the vicinity of Scheibenhardt, Germany.
He is remembered at the Brick Chapel Cemetery in Brick Chapel, Putnam County, Indiana.
