Pfc Henry T. Collinsworth was graduated from the Friendship High School and was employed at the Southern Advance Bag & Paper Company before he enlisted on 30 November 1942. He was sent overseas on 10 September 1944.

He is remembered at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Friendship, Bienville Parish, Louisiana.
