On 27 February 1945, the remains of Pfc Beach, Pvt Harrington and another American soldier were discovered at the civil cemetery of Sommerain, Belgium. The remains were evacuated to the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Foy, Belgium.Later, when this cemetery was closed, his remains were transported to Henri-Chapelle.
