More information

Pfc Ira E. Mann was a plywood worker.

He enlisted at Fort Lewis, Washington on 26 april 1944.

He had send a Christmas card to his three daughters on 9 December at which time he had send Christmas greetings to several friends in Albany. This was the last communication received from him.

Note about the place of death: From 1936 to 1945 the official name of the town was Saarlautern because the nazi government tried to let the name sound more German.
