Pfc John O. Stoddard enlisted in November 1943.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
As boys, Robert L. Hogeman, William P. Reddert and John O. Stoddard had belonged to the same Madison Boy Scout Troop, No. 25. At the request of their families, they were buried side-by-side.
