1st Lt William B. O'Brien attended Forrest City High School and was a farm owner.He entered service on 24 December 1940 and served his Infantry basic training at Camp Robinson, Arkansas. He was selected to attend Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning, Georgia and sent to France in June 1944.
Lt O'Brien was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
