Pvt Joseph P. Misko attended Eynon and Archibald High School.
He enlisted at Fort Dix, New Jersey on 23 May 1944 and received his training at Fort Dix, Camp Croft, South Carolina and Camp Butner, North Carolina from where he left for overseas duty in January 1945.
He was killed by a penetrating wound in the neck.
