More information

T/Sgt Robert A. Bell attended high school for three years before he joined the Regular Army in Olean, New York, on 4 October 1940.

He was reported seriously wounded in action on 24 September and was evacuated to the 60th Field Hospital where he died because of his wounds the same day. At that time the HQ Company was holding positions in near Bratte, France.
