2nd Lt Alex L. Armagnac graduated from the New Mexico Military Institute.

He enlisted on 5 June 1942 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Lt Armagnac was killed in a vehicle accident in France. He was just cited for capturing a German major and captain and 80 soldiers at the point of a machine gun in France.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Champigneul, France.
