Sgt Boyd L. Mahoney was a routeman before he enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 8 February 1943. He was sent overseas in August 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his hand.
His brother Howard is buried at Hanri-Chapelle American Military Cemetery.
