Pvt David A. Boxell Jr. graduated from Dormont High School in 1943 and worked for the Air Reduction Sales Company.He enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 10 November 1943.
He was wounded on 28 November 1944 in Germany and died of his wounds on 21 January 1945 in Paris.
Pvt Boxell was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Solers, France.
