More information

Pfc Donald E. Sterrett attended college for two years and was a foreman.

He enlisted in Indianapolis, Indiana on 13 October 1943. He was sent overseas in May 1944.

He was reported lightly wounded in action on 9 August 1944 and transferred to the 34th Evacuation Hospital that was stationed in Fougères, France at that moment.

Further information about Pfc Sterrett couldn't be found in any other Morning Report, so it isn't clear if he returned to his unit and where he died.

Three of his brothers also served.
